JEFFERSON COUNTY — Local grade schools are putting their plans in place for what their return to the classrooms are going to look like in just a few weeks.

McClellan School Superintendent Terry Milt says they plan to offer in-person instruction and online learning for any student, and letting the parents choose which they would like for their child. Students choosing to come back to the classroom will be dismissed at 1:45 every day, and staff and students will follow the guidance and protocols set by the CDC and IDPH.

Milt says preparing for this school year is something his district, and many other districts are taking one day at a time.

McClellan students are scheduled to return to class on August 17th.
