Trent Ballard, 85, of Southaven, Mississippi, passed away at 12:20 amJuly 18, 2020 at Life Point Village Assisted Living Facility in Southaven, Mississippi. He was bornApril 7, 1935 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to the late Gale Robert and Leta (Bodine) Ballard. Trent married Rose Darlene (Cates) Ballard on August 21, 1953 in Mount Vernon, Illinois. They were blessed with sixty-six years of marriage before she preceded him in death on December 30, 2019.

A Visitation will be held Friday, July 24, 2020 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am with Reverend Denver Ayres officiating. Interment will follow at East Hickory Hill Cemetery in Bluford, Illinois.
