SOUTHERN ILLINOIS — Restaurants are opening their buildings to patrons again as a part of Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois reopening plan. The state officially entered Phase 4 on Friday.

While some businesses took major blows because of the pandemic, Pam Ruiz with Tequilas Mexican Restaurants says their locations across southern Illinois have fared pretty well.

Ruiz says all of their locations should see a boost with dining rooms being allowed to reopen.

Per the state guidelines, indoor dining is restricted to 25% capacity and tables must stay six feet apart with 10 people or fewer per table.
