MT. VERNON, IL — Crossroads Community Hospital is now offering convenient healthcare with their new Telehealth services during this COVID-19 pandemic. Whether you are sheltering in place, staying at home or just keeping social distance, you can still see and speak with your provider via a video chat through your cell phone or computer.

Nurse Practitioner Kim Belangee says telemedicine can be used on a broader basis than for just acute care.

If you do not have access to the type of technology necessary to do a video chat, you can call the Mt. Vernon Crossroads Hospital location at 618-244-5500.

Belangee says if someone starts feeling the symptoms of the novel coronavirus, Telehealth is a great way to let medical professionals determine if you need further care.
