MCLEANSBORO — The Hamco Food and Brew Fest takes place this Saturday from 6 to 10 p.m. at Trackers Lodge in McLeansboro.
According to the Hamilton County Chamber of Commerce, tickets for the event are sold out.
Those attending this year’s event will have a chance to sample great foods and desserts and from area food vendors as well as outstanding beer from local and regional brewers.
New this year will be a lounge on the 2nd floor that will include music from Clay Rapp from 6 to 8 p.m. and Meghan Barrow from 8 to 10 p.m.
A portion of the proceeds will be given as a scholarship available to college students studying Culinary Arts in the Southern Illinois region. In the event of no applicants, the chamber board will donate a portion of the proceeds to a general scholarship recipient or charity of choice.
