MT. VERNON — The University of Illinois Extension is encouraging local government officials, aspiring entrepreneurs, and current business owners looking to sharpen their skills to take part in their upcoming Local Government Education Webinar called “Developing a Creative Economy.”
Pam Schallhorn with the University of Illinois Extension is the presenter of the webinar and has worked with hundreds of small creative businesses across Illinois to get them off their feet. She says especially in small town Illinois, there is a need for leaders and entrepreneurs to understand how to turn their creative skill into a successful business.
