MCLEANSBORO — Hamilton County Clerk Mary Anne Hopfinger has released information regarding voting by mail, grace period voting and early voting for the April 2 consolidated election.

Hopfinger says March 28 is the last day the county’s Election Authority can receive by mail an application for a Vote by Mail ballot. Voting will be done in the County Clerk’s office.

Grace period voting for those who have failed to register or transfer their voter registration prior to March 6 through April 2 of this year can go to the County Clerk’s office only and register or transfer their voter registration and vote at the same time. You must bring two forms of confirmation of current address. Grace period voting will be done March 6 through April 2 only at the County Clerk’s office.

Early voting will begin Thursday and continue through April 1 in the County Clerk’s office. During early voting, a person may make application and vote in the County Clerk’s office.
