FRANKLIN COUNTY — Icy conditions led to a traffic crash in Franklin County early Sunday morning. According to the Franklin County Emergency Management Agency, the crash happened on Yellow Banks Road in the area of Kash Lane to Prophet Road.

Franklin County Sheriff David Bartoni says the roadway was icy at the edge of the high water. The driver slid on the ice and into the water on the edge of the roadway. The Franklin County Dive Team was deployed. The driver was rescued from the roof of the vehicle without injury. Names were not released.

The Franklin County Highway Department, West City Fire Department, Benton Fire Department and Abbott EMS responded to the scene.
