Marion man charged with 3 counts of first degree murder in connection with Sunday shooting at Red Zone Bar

MARION — A Marion man has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder in connection with a deadly early Sunday morning shooting at Red Zone Bar on Route 37 in Whiteash.

Williamson County State’s Attorney Brandon Zanotti says the state alleges that 43-year-old Demetrius D. Crittendon shot 31-year-old Cederic Marshall in the chest with a firearm. Marshall was taken to Herrin Hospital where he died. An autopsy is set for today.

Crittendon was taken into custody at the scene. He is currently in the Williamson County Jail awaiting his first court appearance and the setting of bond,

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating this case.
