Pritzker Declares State of Emergency Across Illinois in Advance of Cold Blast

SPRINGFIELD (RFD) — Governor JB Pritzker is assembling state resources to prepare for what is expected to be one of the worst cold snaps in years in Illinois. In a visit to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency Emergency Operations Center, Pritzker announced a disaster proclamation for the entire state ahead of a severe winter storm that will blanket the state with life-threatening wind chills.
