MT. VERNON — On Friday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX / WDML News:

44-year-old Mitchell Rice of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Thursday for possession of child pornography.

52-year-old Michelle Ferreira of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Thursday for disorderly conduct.

59-year-old Leroy Miller of McLeansboro was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Thursday for driving on a suspended license and on a bond forfeiture warrant.

19-year-old Jacob Staats of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Thursday for manufacturing / delivery between 10 and 30 grams of cannabis.

24-year-old Matthew Blim of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Thursday for possession of meth less than five grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

21-year-old Maverick Morris of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Thursday for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and illegal possession of ammunition / FOID.

26-year-old Joseph Laur of Waltonville was arrested Friday on a probation violation.
