Phillip J. Fally, 65, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, died at 7:19 A.M. on Wednesday January 23, 2019 at his home. Phill was born September 4, 1953 in Centralia, Illinois, the son of the late Aaron Griffith and Merle (Lowe) Fally. On December 24, 1978, he married Donna Rongey at their residence in Mount Vernon and she survives.
Visitation will be held Saturday January 26, 2019 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Newell Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Newell Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. Burial will follow at Fally Cemetery in Farrington Township, rural Jefferson County. Memorials in Phil’s memory can be made to CASA of Jefferson County, Illinois and will be received at the Newell Funeral Home, 601 South 42nd Street in Mt. Vernon at any time.
