WAYNE COUNTY — A 26-year-old Fairfield man is free on $25,000 cash bond following his arrest last month when task force officials reportedly seized nearly 170 grams of methamphetamine from his home.

Blake Powell is facing two Class X felony charges – one for possession of between 100 and 400 grams of meth and one for delivery of between 100 and 400 grams of meth.

Powell was arrested November 20th after an investigation by the Wayne County Drug Task Force led to the seizure of 168 grams – or 6 ounces — of meth worth an approximate street value of $13,400.

He’s next due in court December 18 for a preliminary hearing and a first appearance with his attorney.
