Cynthia Dawn Kirsch, 53, of Mt. Vernon, passed away at 10:15 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2018, at her aunt’s home, in McLeansboro.

She was born November 1, 1965, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Donald Lee and Barbara Ann Roberson.  She was a CNA, and graduated from Mt. Vernon Township High School and Rend Lake College.  She was a member of Central Christian Church.  She loved animals and music, and enjoyed spending time with her kids and grand kids.

She is survived by six children, Amy Wilson and significant other Jeff Dees of Mt. Vernon, Bethany Taylor and husband Travis of Bluford, Tyler May of Bluford, Zachary Ward of Bluford, Caitlyn Stout of Bluford, and Ryan Ward of Richview;  five grandchildren, Kiley and Colton Wilson of Mt. Vernon, Remington and Dean Taylor of Bluford, and Tejay May of Bluford; four brothers, Chris Roberson, Bob Roberson, Rick Roberson, and Steven Aday;  and four sisters, Lyn Groh, Lori Aday, Donna Luketich, and Lisa Ponoskit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Barbara Ann Roberson, Biological father, Melvin Aday; and son-in-law Chuck Wilson.

Funeral services for Ms. Kirsch will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018, at Osborn Funeral Home in Dix, with Gary Davenport officiating.  Burial will follow at Zion Grove (County Line) Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Osborn Funeral Home, to help with funeral expenses, and will be accepted at the service, or by mail to the Osborn Funeral Home, P.O.
