Light Agenda for West Frankfort City Council Tuesday Includes Insurance Proposal

WEST FRANKFORT — The West Frankfort City Council has somewhat of a light agenda for tomorrow night’s meeting at 6 at City Hall on North Jefferson Street.

The council is expected to approve an ordinance updating the policy prohibiting sexual harassment and a resolution appointing Leon Sailliez to the city’s Fire and Police Merit Board.

Council members are also expected to approve a proposal for coverage from Arthur J. Gallagher and Company or IML Risk Management Association regarding insurance for the city effective Dec. 1, 2018 to Nov. 30, 2019 regarding property, liability and workers compensation insurance.

The council will discuss with possible action regarding a $1,500 donation to the Youth in Government program at FCHS. The money would come out of the video gaming fund.

The meeting is open to the public.
