ISP warns of “blackout Wednesday”

ILLINOIS (RFD) — They call it blackout Wednesday. The night before Thanksgiving has become one of the most famous drinking nights of the year and Illinois State Trooper Jason Wilson says it’s not a problem as long as you designate a non-blackout driver.

Illinois State Police Officers along with City and County officers will be on duty across the state of Illinois, keeping an eye out over the holiday weekend for drunk drivers but also those not be wearing a seat-belt or those who attempt to text and drive.
