PULASKI COUNTY — One person was killed in a three-vehicle crash on southbound I-57 in Pulaski County Sunday afternoon.

Illinois State Police say around 4:20 p.m., a SUV was disabled partially in the lane of travel. A pickup truck pulling a camper trailer, driven by 41-year-old James Foster of Gosport, Indiana, slowed for the disabled vehicle. A semi driven by 61-year-old Leroy Mitchell of Detroit, Michigan, rear-ended Foster’s pickup pushing it into the disabled SUV. The driver of the SUV was out of the vehicle at the time of crash. He died. His name is being withheld until family members are notified.

ISP says charges are pending.
