FRANKLIN COUNTY — Franklin County’s newly elected sheriff and treasurer will be sworn into office later this month.

Franklin County Clerk Greg Woolard tells us Sheriff-elect David Bartoni and Treasurer-elect Steve Vercellino will be sworn in on Friday, Nov. 30 at 2 p.m. at the Franklin County Courthouse in Benton.

Bartoni, a Republican, defeated Democrat incumbent Sheriff Don Jones and Vercellino, also a Republican, defeated Democrat incumbent Keith Jones on Election Day.
