CARTERVILLE — A Carterville man is set to be sentenced in January after being found guilty of predatory criminal sexual assault – a Class X felony – Tuesday in Williamson County Court.

According to Williamson County State’s Attorney Brandon Zanotti, the trial for 46-year-old Nathan Scott Farrah-Pugh, who is also known as Nathan King, was held Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. The guilty verdict was rendered Tuesday. He could get anywhere from 6 to 60 years in prison when sentenced.

Zanotti says the incidents in question happened between 2015 and 2016. The victim was 6 years old at the time. At the trial, DNA evidence was offered by the State.

King had no prior criminal history of sexual abuse. He is an Australian citizen here in the U.S. on a visa according to Zanotti.
