Early Voting Numbers Grow Larger

ILLINOIS (RFD) — Early voting totals are reaching levels normally seen during Presidential election years. The State Board of Elections shows that about 900,000 votes have been cast early. Board of Elections’ Matt Dietrich says much of it is because of the push made by candidates to get people to cast that ballot early on in the election process.

The state has 8 million registered voters and in 2016 more than 1.9 million votes were done either through in person early voting or through the mail.
