Raymond Tucker, 66, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 7:10 P.M. October 15, 2018 at his residence. He was born March 16, 1952 in Mount Vernon to the late Cephus and Anna Mae (Lewis) Tucker. Raymond was married to Angela Hall and later married to Diane Gordan, both of whom survive.

 Raymond is survived by his children, Marc Tucker and lifelong partner, Ashley Marthaler of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Dion Harris and wife, Megan of Indianapolis, Indiana, David “Boo” Chrum of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Trena Tucker and lifelong partner, Benjamin Barner of Mount Vernon, Illinois, and Judith Tucker Foster and husband, Ashton of Acworth, Georgia; grandchildren, Kailynn, Cameron, Kane, Hysley, Markiece, Khirece, Bentereya, Diamond, Jasmine, Quincy, Angel, and Aliese; great-grandchildren, Aaden, Alorra, Elias, Ja’siah, Khirece, Jr., Markiece, MJ, Markiece, Jr., Khimari, Khiree, Profit, Me’khi, and Azion; and siblings, Betty Mack and Michael Tucker and wife, Kathy.

In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his siblings, Coleman Carrodine, Truman Tucker, and Joe Tucker.

Mr. Tucker proudly served our country in the United States Army and worked for Continental Tire as a trimmer.  He was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Mount Vernon. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois with Reverend Lawrence James officiating.  Interment will follow and members of the American Legion Post #141 will conduct Full Military Honors.
