WILLIAMSON COUNTY — The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office will be part of the next National Prescription Drug Take Back event on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the sheriff’s office on North Monroe Street in Marion.

You will be able to drop off your unused, expired or unwanted prescription medication that will be disposed of by the DEA in an environmentally safe way.

The sheriff’s office will also accept needles and “sharps” for disposal at the same time. Sharps must be kept separate from medications. The sheriff’s office will dispose of the sharps through its jail contacts.
