CENTRALIA — Centralia police are seeking help from the public in identifying and locating two men and a woman who were reportedly involved in a domestic incident Saturday in the Burger King parking lot that sent a Good Samaritan to the hospital.

According to Centralia Police Lt. Greg Dodson, just before 11 p.m. Saturday, a 47-year-old Centralia man was a passenger in the drive-thru of the restaurant when he saw two younger male subjects beating an unidentified female.

He intervened and one of the men attacked him and knocked him to the ground, resulting in the man sustaining a head injury. While on the ground the man was punched several more times.

Dodson says when officers arrived, the Good Samaritan was unconscious and appeared to have suffered a concussion. He was transported to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for treatment.

The two suspects reportedly left the parking lot in a white four-door Toyota or Hyundai car but it’s unclear what happened to the woman.

If anyone knows the identity of the two men or the woman who was being beaten, they’re urged to contact Centralia Police at 533-7602.
