CENTRALIA — The Centralia Foundation has received a large donation to be used towards park improvements. Balloon Fest 2018 and the Greater Centralia Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors presented a check to the foundation for $10,000. The donation was presented at the Chamber’s September monthly board meeting.
Balloon Fest celebrated its 29th anniversary in 2018 and contributes $10,000 annually to the foundation park system. Next year’s Balloon Fest, its 30th year in Centralia, is scheduled for August 16, 17, and 18, 2019.
