JEFFERSON COUNTY — The current Jefferson County Undersheriff is looking to be voted to take over the Sheriff’s Office this November. Clint Taylor is looking to succeed Travis Allen as Sheriff.

Taylor says he knows the department and how to best utilize the people they have.

Taylor says residents have told him they are proud of the progress the Sheriff’s Office has made and he hopes to continue that progress if elected.
