MT. VERNON — On Friday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX News:

19-year-old Xander Calip of Mt. Vernon was arrested Thursday for violating sex offender registration.

41-year-old Sally Evans of Belle Rive was arrested Thursday for driving on a suspended license.

28-year-old Dustin Smith of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Thursday for aggravated assault of a state employee, aggravated battery of someone over age 60, and on a bond forfeiture warrant.

42-year-old Donnell Watson of St. Louis was arrested by Illinois State Police Thursday for DUI.

34-year-old June Patterson of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Friday on a bond forfeiture warrant.

27-year-old James Lomax of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Friday for felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm.
