MT. VERNON — On Wednesday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX News:

47-year-old Eddie McCandrew of Texico was arrested Tuesday on a probation violation.

30-year-old Tyson Carlos of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Tuesday for driving on a suspended license and possession of a stolen title / plate.

42-year-old Tywannia Moses of Cincinnati, OH was arrested Tuesday for manufacturing / delivery of of cocaine between 400 and 900 grams.

31-year-old James Short of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Tuesday for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, domestic battery, interfering with the report of domestic violence, and resisting a peace officer.
