On the heels of the release of his new single, “Woman, Amen,” and news of his upcoming album, The Mountain, Dierks Bentley has announced his 2018 Mountain High tour, which kicks off on May 17th in Columbia, MD. The 40-plus city tour will feature special guests Brothers Osborne and LANCO. Tickets to select cities will be available on Friday (January 26th) at Megaticket.com.
Dierks said, “I needed the time off to devote all my attention to the new music and making The Mountain album, but now I can’t wait to fire up the buses and get back out there. I’ve been friends with TJ and John for a long time and I have loved watching their career explode. I’m just getting to know the boys in LANCO, but I love their music and the energy they bring to the stage. And after seeing them and the Bros party down at the grand opening of my new bar on Lower Broadway last week, I can tell you it’s gonna be game on this summer!”
Dierks shared news of the tour with a funny five-minute video that he released yesterday (Monday, January 22nd) morning. The clip features his upcoming tourmates, who joined him for a media day on Monday at his own Whiskey Row restaurant and bar in downtown Nashville. Dierks told us:
“The idea of doing something fun before to announce the video is something that I probably initiated but Ryan had a great idea for this one. These guys were all game to come out there and spend four or five hours in the woods and (laughs) that says a lot. The fact that they would do that and be happy to do it, that alone says a lot. If you love it it was my idea. If you hate it it was a guy named Ryan Silver. Look him up.”
Dierks’ The Mountain album is due out early this year.
