Western IL Radio Station Goes SilentA longtime local radio frequency went silent at the close of 2017. WCAZ in Carthage ceased operations on December 31st due to an FCC issue. Sales Manager Keith Yex says it’s a sad day for him. WCAZ was officially licensed by the FCC in 1922.
