Bail has been set at $150,000 for Alexis S. Sanders who was arrested Tuesday by Marion County Sheriff’s deputies. She’s been given time to hire a private attorney and is scheduled for a January 17 preliminary hearing.

According to Centralia police, it’s believed Sanders was one of the suspects described as entering the Hunan House around 9 p.m. December 17 and ordering food, when one of the male suspects displayed a handgun and demanded money.

When the employee did not immediately respond, the male suspect struck her in the head with the handgun, then took an undetermined amount of money and the three then fled on foot.

Approximately 30 minutes later, Centralia Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at Lincoln Liquors, 731 E. Broadway.  The victim in this incident indicated that two black males and a black female entered the store and one of the males produced a handgun and demanded money.

The employee was then struck in the head with a handgun.  After the employee opened the register, the suspects took an undetermined amount of money and fled the scene on foot.

Two others, 18-year-old Dazhai Brumfield, and 37-year-old Ernestine Fields have already been arrested and charged in connection with that string of armed robberies. Brumfield has also been charged in the October armed robbery of the Huck’s Convenience Store in Centralia.
