The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two men in connection with an ongoing investigation into a stolen gun.

According to court reports, 35-year-old Jamie Charlton, of Salem, and 23-year-old Anthony Devor, of Kell, were arrested after allegedly trying to sell firearms that were believed to be stolen.

Bail for Charlton has been set at $75,000 and he’s been formally charged with Class 3 felony possession of a weapon by a felon.

Bail for Devor has been set at $25,000 and he’s been charged with felony theft for having unauthorized possession of another person’s firearms, scope, TV and other property valued at more than $500.

Both men are next scheduled to appear in court December 19 for a first appearance with their court appointed attorneys.
