Illinois Launches 24-Hour Helpline for Opioid Abuse

The state is launching a new 24-hour hotline to help combat opioid abuse.

The helpline is a critical new tool in the fight against the opioid crisis says Illinois Public Health Director Doctor Nirav Shah.

The helpline will provide a place for individuals and family members struggling with addiction to get confidential help says Governor Bruce Rauner.
