MT. VERNON — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has released November enforcement numbers.

Overall the office had 783 calls in the month of November, down from 918 in October. A call is considered anything that requires a deputy response, regardless of any charges or even arrests.

JCSO responded to 67 traffic crashes which is an increase from 41 a month prior and 15 domestic calls.

Other figures decreased for the month. The office only served 29 warrants, down from 41; and served over 100 fewer civil papers–dropping from 190 to just 73.

Though that October number is typically skewed due to delinquent tax notices.
