Centralia police arrested two Salem men over the weekend on drug charges after allegedly finding methamphetamine in their truck during a traffic stop.

According to reports, police were on a domestic disturbance call Saturday stopped the truck leaving a home in the 100 block of South Beach and arrested 46-year-old Larry Woodward and 39-year-old Andrew Norman.

Officers searched the truck after the police canine alerted on the driver’s side of the vehicle.

They reportedly discovered a baggie containing a substance suspected to be methamphetamine, a scale, two drug pipes, and multiple baggies with suspected meth residue inside. A search of Woodward reportedly unveiled $4,100 cash.

Both men were taken to the Marion County Jail on charges of possession of less than 5-grams of meth, manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Woodward posted $1,500 cash bond and was released. Norman remained in jail Sunday evening.
