Democratic AG Candidate Blasts Interstate Voter Registration Program

Democratic Attorney General candidate Nancy Rottering is blasting the interstate voter registration program Crosscheck, after the State Board of Elections kept the program intact with a 4-4 vote this week Rotering has cybersecurity concerns, months after Illinois was targeted in a large hacking effort.

Rottering also claims Crosscheck has been proven to be a partisan tool to purge voters from the rolls.

Rottering, the Mayor of Highland Park, is among eight Democratic candidates in the AG’s race.
