You may have seen bags placed on your door by the Mt. Vernon Boy Scout Troop 103 over the weekend. Scouting for Food is a national campaign led by the Boy Scouts of America and it is going on this week.

All non-perishable food items collected this week will be distributed to local pantries.

The final day to participate is this Saturday, November 18th. The bags will be collected between 9 a.m. and 11am in Mt. Vernon and Summersville by the Boy Scouts.
