A 37-year-old Centralia woman is in the Marion County Jail facing multiple charges including possession of a stolen vehicle.

According to police, Jennifer Creps took a vehicle from outside Skippers Inn on South Locust Street. Three children, ages eight, six, and an infant were inside the vehicle at the time.

The owner of the vehicle reportedly stopped at the tavern to get change and when she came back out to the vehicle the children were missing.

Creps was later arrested and told police she thought she had taken someone else’s vehicle. The children were still inside, and while upset they were unharmed.

She was formally charged in Marion County Court with Class 2 felony possession of a stolen vehicle, and in a separate case three Class 2 felony charges of aggravated DUI, and Class 4 felony aggravated DUI while license suspended or revoked. Her bail has been set at $25,000.
