Keith Urban played a pop-up show in Nashville

Keith Urban surprised fans in Nashville with a free pop-up show at a small club last night (Monday, October 16th). Just hours before taking the stage, he posted a message on social media with showtime and place. The couple hundred fans lucky enough to get inside the tiny venue were treated to both acoustic and full band performances of Keith’s biggest hits as well as a few covers. Before singing a note, Keith told the crowd that he was there because he’d been off the road for a while and he “missed playing.”

Keith is working on the follow-up to his 2016 Ripcord album.

He is nominated for Entertainer, Male Vocalist and Single of the Year for “Blue Ain’t Your Color” at next month’s CMA Awards. The show will air live from Nashville on ABC on November 8th.
