Thelma Joyce Hughey, 73, passed away October 10, 2017. She was born November 24, 1943 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to the late Harrison and Mildred (Karch) Hughey.

There will be a visitation from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 20, 2017 at Saint Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Reverend Andrew Knopik officiating. Interment will follow at Oddfellows Cemetery in Opdyke, Illinois.

Memorials may be made to Jefferson County Animal Shelter in loving memory of Thelma Joyce Hughey.
