Illinois State Police have arrested three men in Fayette County on charges alleging cannabis conspiracy.

Two of the men, 24-year-old Jouzhen Huang, and 23-year-old Liyang Zhao, are from Philadelphia, and the third, 21-year-old Yong Da Huang, is from Los Angeles.

The three are being held for alleged possession of more than 5,000 grams of cannabis, cannabis trafficking, delivery of more than 5,000 grams of cannabis, and calculated cannabis conspiracy.

They remain in the Fayette County Jail awaiting the formal filing of charges and the setting of bail.

An Illinois State Police trooper discovered 62 pounds of cannabis during a traffic stop while patrolling Interstate 70 west of Vandalia.  The street value of the seized cannabis was approximately $150,000.
