MARION COUNTY — A Centralia man will spend three years in prison after pleading guilty to a drug charge in Marion County Court.

34-year-old Steven Cody pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of under five grams of methamphetamine. This is not the first time Cody has been sentenced on a meth-related offense.

In November 2016, Cody was handed a two year prison sentence on another possession charge. It is because of that sentence that Cody received an enhanced sentence on this plea. Cody will also have to serve one year mandatory supervised release and is responsible for court costs.
