Jason Aldean’s Takeout Order Ends With Employee Being Fired

Jason Aldean’s recent to-go burrito order wound up with an employee of a West Virginia restaurant getting fired, but the singer himself had nothing to do with it. TMZ reports that the superstar and his crew ordered 60 burritos and a quesadilla last week at Black Sheep Burrito & Brews while performing nearby. The employee claims he was left a pitiful tip on the $500 order so he tweeted at Jason for being cheap. A few days later, he says he got fired. A manager at Black Sheep told TMZ that “Jason’s people didn’t blow the whistle about the tweet, it was another employee who told management.” The manager added that the employee was fired for tweeting about customers, which is a company violation.

A spokesperson for Jason confirmed the order but says it “included an appropriate tip” and “Jason had absolutely no contact with the restaurant or any of its employees.”

Jason takes his tour to Salt Lake City tonight (Thursday, September 14th). Weekend stops include Denver and Albuquerque.
