Crews Bracing For Possible Record Flooding In Northern Suburbs

(Lake Co., IL)  —  Emergency crews are bracing for possible record breaking flooding in the northern suburbs.  Runoff from heavy rain this week is expected to cause flooding in areas along the Des Plaines and Fox rivers tomorrow.  Up to seven inches of rain fell in some areas, which caused numerous road closures.  Lake County was declared a disaster area yesterday.   Governor Bruce Rauner will be touring the area today.
