(CARBONDALE, IL) — An early Sunday morning shooting in Carbondale is currently under investigation.  At 1:40 a.m. on Sunday, police from Carbondale received a report of a gunshot inside of the Hollywood Lounge.  A victim arrived at a Murphysboro hospital a short time later for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.  Police report that the victim had no affiliation with SIU or from Carbondale.  At this time, no other information has been released.
