(MT. VERNON, IL) — A Mt. Vernon woman pleaded guilty to a Class 2 Felony charge of robbery Wednesday in Jefferson County Court. Authorities arrested 41 year old Heather Rowe on May 4th after a report of a robbery at the 10th Street Circle K store. Rowe’s charge was amended from the original charge of Class 1 Felony aggravated robbery. Rowe remains in custody at the Jefferson County Justice Center on a $75,000 bond. A status hearing on Rowe’s sentencing has been set for 9:30 a.m. on August 1st.
