(MT. VERNON, IL) — A 33-year-old Chicago woman was sentenced Wednesday in Jefferson County Court to 12 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after she pleaded guilty to felony identity theft. Natalie N. Anderson was indicted in October 2016 on a Class 1 felony charge of identity theft of credit or goods valued between $10,000 and $100,000. Anderson was convicted of stealing someone’s personal identification information to obtain a Cadillac Escalade and store merchandise from TJ Maxx. The 12-year sentence will run concurrently to an 8-year sentence out of Stephenson County where she was convicted of Class 1 and Class 2 identity theft. She is currently being held in Logan Correctional Center where she is already serving time on the Stephenson County conviction.
