WILLIAMSON COUNTY — An accident on I-57 in Williamson County left one person injured Friday evening. 19-year-old Conner Cutright of Casey was injured after her Jeep Wrangler overturned near milepost 61 in the southbound lanes.

A Ford Mustang driven by 22-year-old Chance Pearson of Marion was following Cutright whenever Pearson began to pass her Jeep in the passing lane. Pearson lost control of the Mustang leaving the roadway. As Pearson over-corrected and returned to the roadway, he allegedly struck the Jeep causing Cutright to overturn and come to rest upside down.

Cutright was transported to Heartland Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Pearson was ticketed for improper lane usage.
