(TAMAROA, IL) — State Representative Terri Bryant (R-Murphysboro) is sponsoring a Senate Joint Resolution which designates US Route 51 from Shamrock Road to Kimzey Road in Tamaroa as the “PFC Tyler Iubelt Memorial Highway.” PFC Iubelt died November 12, 2016 in Bagram, Afghanistan, from injuries sustained from an improvised explosive device in a suicide bomber attack. In presenting the resolution in committee Wednesday morning, Bryant said his death was a big loss for the small town on Tamaroa.
