Peoria County Election Leaders Say They Didn’t Get Hacked

(Peoria, IL)  —  Election managers in Peoria County are the latest to say they didn’t get hacked.  The Peoria County Election Commission’s Tom Bride yesterday told county leaders that while hackers tried to change voter information in the state’s database, the county’s voter’s files were safe. Bride says Peoria County voter files aren’t accessible from the internet, and cannot be reached through Illinois’ State Board of Elections website.
