(MARION, IL) — Registered voters in Williamson County will be seeing new voter registration cards in their mailbox starting in a few days. County Clerk Amanda Barnes says the cards will be mailed out Tuesday. They will be for anyone who has not received a new voter’s car since April of this year in Williamson County. Barnes says if you don’t receive a card, call her office at 998-2112 to verify your registration in her system or you can visit williamsoncountyil.gov and click on my registration to verify that you are a registered voter. The new voter card will replace all of those previously issued and will include the voter’s name, address, township, precinct, polling place and units of government for which you are entitled to vote. Barnes says the next election will be the General Primary Election on March 20 of next year. Your name and address must be updated in order to be eligible to vote a full ballot on Election Day. If you need more information, call the County Clerk’s office at 998-2112.
